A SQL language server reads your tables, columns, CTEs, and foreign keys, so the editor catches mistakes before you run them.
The editor runs a SQL language server against the live schema of the tab's connection. Completions know the columns of the tables in your FROM clause and the output columns of your CTEs. Hovering a table shows its columns, foreign keys, and the tables that reference it. Unknown tables and columns are underlined as you type.

Start a tab on the active connection, or open a .sql file from disk.
Completion and hover come from the tables you are actually querying.
Diagnostics point at the exact table or column that does not exist.

Column types, keys, foreign keys, and referencing tables for any table name.
Unknown tables and columns are flagged as you type, including schema-qualified names.
Columns defined in WITH clauses and derived tables are understood, not flagged.
